6:30 - 7:30 pm Eastmont Towers
Community - Lincoln, NE Evening program for
residents and guests. This was our first time at
Eastmont. I know that's hard to believe, since we've
been doing this music stuff for 7 years, but it's
true. And WOW, were they ready for us. Of course,
with Hussie Deb the Executive Assistant at Eastmont
for the past several months, she knows almost
everyone there, and the room was full of a super
audience. They treated us like royalty and we gave
them a great introduction to Hussie fun and music.
We'll be back. Thanks so much, everyone! |

Saturday

Jerry, one of the Gun Club Members,
and long-time friend of Barb |
12:30 to 2:30 pm - Muzzle
Loaders Gun Show &
Early American Trade Fair - Lancaster Events
Center - Pavilion 1 - Gun Show runs from 9 to 5
on both Saturday & Sunday. Super neat event! It's put on by the
Rock Creek Renegades Muzzle Loaders Club.
The January show is HUGE, filling Pavilion 1 of
the Event Center with vendors and demonstrations.
And it was packed as we played. We saw a lot of
folks who were at the Gun Show last time and loved
our tunes. And we just love the crowd. Next time
we'll have some chairs set up for "listeners". We
even had one couple dance a little jig in front of
us. We'll be back the end of September! Barb and
husband, Don, went back on Sunday to just look
around. Met a neat guy who was doing period music
for them and he played "The Fox" on an old fretless
banjo. And we're learning a couple of new verses for
it! Great FUN! |
